Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker

So Finally I’m putting up the pictures of my interesting night at the teather! I went to see Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker and I thought it was gorgeously done!
I did have such a lovely time and I actually enjoyed the ballet, the props were so cool and everything about it was SO THRILLING! I was a bit dazzled about the dance moves ( way too contemporary for my tastes) but I’m not an expert on that matter so I’ll just leave that part to the experts πŸ˜›

Matthew Bourne’s Version of the Nutcracker is what I’d call sassy and innovative! It’s located in a grey, stiffy orphanage, in strict contrast with the second act, which is an explosion of bright colors! It was a dazzling adventure with some parts that left you with your mouth wide open, like the scenes with the characters licking, slapping and dancing with each other. In few words, it was a mad orgy πŸ˜‰ Also, a part from being very cool and stylish, It has to be said that the show is 19 years old. But somehow It managed to keep the fresh touch to it, that touch that makes you say “Wow, that was raaad!”
