There’s always one word to describe the Pringle of Scotland presentation and that’s ELEGANT! Spring/Summer 2014 is focusing entirely on the clean cut, the quality of the materials and the neutral and mellow colour palette.
Held at the upper floor of the wonderful Victoria House, we just couldn’t miss the opportunity to see this wonderful collection up close by Pringle.
The many sweaters – strong selling point – made entirely of cashmere were being worn by the models who were displaying the S/S collection in the main room; It was just great to see them looking fierce and striking the pose here and there – you can totally see what I mean from the photos I took.
The finest cotton is mixed with more modern materials such as polyester to produce a completely new quality garment. The trench coat just wowed me and got my complete attention with the very english tartan finish – the tartan motif is the central pattern of this collection as it is seen in different garments such as trousers and jumpers – and the strings on the waist to give it a more modern look. Leather biker jackets and brogues were also available to spice things up and give the clean look a more edgy influence.
Obviously such elegant event could not miss the opportunity to offer its fashionable guests champagne and delicious soft drinks. Well, what can I say… well done Pringle!
