On my last day of PFW (I tend to skip Day 5) I worn two different outfits and made sure to change in between shows. Kenzo men’s is always a show I can’t wait to attend, as their settings, designs and creative direction are always so inspiring and full of energy. For my first show of the day, I picked an all-Kenzo outfit from their AW16 range.
When I visited the store in Place des Victoires to pick the pieces, I fell in love with the denim jacket featuring the “Hair” print and the classic mandarin collar straight away. It’s very different from what I have in my wardrobe and It truly struck my attention when I first saw it back in January. I mixed the jacket, with a very technical sweater (that almost feels like a football shirt) and a pair of black jeans featuring the original Kenzo Takada signature. A great tribute to the inventor of the brand!
The signature is becoming a true iconic piece for AW16, as it’s seen on jackets, shirts and jeans! Finishing off my Kenzo look, I picked the coolest back pack I’ve seen for ages. The Kenzo Kanvas back pack, featuring the Pull here sign and made of three different materials. Nonetheless, this outfit went down a storm!
After lunch with Aneeta and Kiran (the Western Assembly e-commerce founders) and my friend Zyba at Les Jardins du Marais, I changed to a more tailored outfit and headed to Dior Homme. I worn a combination of black and white, and I put the focus on the Alexander Mcqueen Skull print t-shirt and styled it with a pair of white chinos, and a stripy off-white Blazer from Banana Republic! Pretty cool, huh?!
