Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 Day 4

Final Day at MFW and the last group of designers to close the S/S curtains for this year in Milan.

Dsquared2‘s Dean and Dan definetely didn’t hold back and showed what they are capable of in this incredible Spring/Summer collection. A very dark yet chic collection with lots of reference from Skulls, To Animal Prints (Leopard baby!) and again cross and rosary beads! This all-rebel collection certainly managed to leave a great after taste on me, I particularly loved the skull shirt and the shoes. They killed it for me!

Giorgio Armani gave a great presentation with his essence coming through the clothes. Very elegant and sleek, and laid-back: a true collection for a real and masculine man! That’s what the collection was about. The use of blue and grey can be found on a lot of his looks, hence focusing on elegance. I really loved the Crocodile-skin jacket, it probably was my favourite piece of the day!

Diesel Black Gold and Ports 1961 at last; I did love particularly the Ports 1961 collection. The colors and the shapes of the clothes won me over. Lots of good combination between colors and different materials (such as the use of yellow and silk on the suits: simply magical!). A great foundation of different ideas and geometric shapes for an overall great collection from the Canadian maison.

Unfortunately all good things come to and end..and with MFW is over, It’s time to think about the next great event…so France (Paris to be precise) we come!

What was your favourite piece of the last day of MFW? And what about your overall favourite designer of MFW?
