Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 Day 2

First of all let me apologize to you all, I was meant to post this last night but Unfortunately my laptop charger broke, so I rushed out this morning to get a new one to be able to finish this article!

Now getting down to business, what did you think of the second day of MFW? Too many brands with awesome collections in my opinion!

I particularly enjoyed the visual of Salvatore Ferragamo! I loved every single suit and the pastel/bright colors were just lovely to watch. (You can see the 4 best looks I’ve picked from the entire runway show just above)

Trussardi was another brand that did an amazing job (The color palette was so good, I love the combination and use of different browns) , the clothes were outstanding and the use of the dogs and old-school bicyles were quite smart actually. It added that little extra factor that made the show remarkable.

Bottega Veneta (Inspired by Native Americans), Roberto Cavalli, Prada, Vivienne Westwood (Don’t let me start on those flower-crowns, I’M CRAZY ABOUT THEM) and Belstaff all did great with few key pieces that just left me want for more. Belstaff definetely leading on top of selling Jackets and coats (I enjoyed almost every single piece of Jacket of that collection). Roberto Cavalli was conceptually very similar to Burberry Prorsum’s collection, he used the crazy neon colors on some of the outfits (we loved it). Overall I enjoyed it

Now I have to give thumbs down to CK collection and Dirk Bikkembergs. I’m usually very pleased by CK but this time around I could hardly find a piece that could truly get my excited. I don’t know, it just wasn’t there for me.
So now it’s your turn, which was yout favourite look of the day? and which designers excited you the most and the least? 😀 Don’t forget to leave a comment!

  • Fantastic post! It’s always great to come across men’s style blogs as they are relatively rare! Love the top row of outfits, I love it when men wear colour! Thank you for visiting my blog and for the lovely comment! xxx

wow these are some interesting pieces, it’s great to see some men’s fashion rather than the same old things boys wear these days!
