Lanvin Spring/Summer 2013 collection wasn’t just considered to be beautiful, It was also described as innovative and almost futuristic. Taking inspiration directly from mixing different materials, we get to see some of the all time favourite garments such as light-weight parkas and bomber jackets turned into something completely different.
Nylon is the primary element that distinguish the S/S 2013 collection, almost invisible made to have a transparent look against the skin. More expensive versions are available featuring spritz of snake skin, cut very finely and added around zip pockets and the front of the jacket.
This Lanvin collection truly reflects the contrast, the opposition and combination of different hi-tech materials and the classic. A true “wedding” between the past and the future, the classic and the vision of the future, an amazing combo that is meant to get the attention of fashionistas and such.
The collection is available in store and at Selfridges (LDN)
