One of the most eye-attracting things you can ever get to see from the Designers are the shopping window displays. Visual Merchandisers really tend to do an outstanding job when it comes to make the store windows appealing to the customers. It’s like a wordless business card saying “Come in and buy me”.
Among the most interesting installations, Lanvin is renown for its quirky displays, magical set-ups and mannequins. As you can see, this time around the theme is called “Splash” and we see color everywhere. Tones of Berry Burgundy, Emerald Green and Sky Blue, spattered in a huge blank white wall!
Incredibly dramatic and very beautiful at the same time; a work of art that isn’t afraid of being a bit loud and self-centered . – am I the only crazy person to see it as somebody just got pistoled in the head by a femme fatale leaving a beautiful trace of…..well vermillion color on the walls? –
In contrast with the previous subtle and more soft and feminine “Bird of the Paradise” installation, The “Splash” is definetely going for the shock factor. Bold is definetely the word for the French Maison!
