Dior Homme was the brand to look forward to in Paris (#pfw), showing their Fall/Winter 2014 at the Tennis Club de Paris, this collection was a mix of extreme formal and casual wear, for the man who knows how to wear a suit but still values his modern and confident casual wardrobe, as well as his free time.
Kris Van Assche, creative director of Dior Homme, pulled of an outstanding variety of garments; plenty of outwear, ranging from the luxurious fur coats to parkas, leather aviator jackets and formal overcoats. A well rounded collection that reaches a big audience with good taste as a common denominator.
Lilies seem to be the main theme for this collection, which are recalled and shown as a print on suits, worn in suit-pockets and finally gifted on the invites. Luxe elements are seen through the elegant fur, and the leather.
Denim is another splash of casual that disrupts the harmony of all-luxury, which makes this specific collection even more interesting. A mix that Kris Van Assche won’t make you forget: Overall, a very smart collection.
