Corneliani is a symbol of elegance and great Italian tailoring, and as soon as I stepped in the location I knew that this show was going to be a good one; and I was right.
Kicking off the whole shebang known as Milan Fashion Week, the collection was showcased just in the gardens of la “Rotonda della Besana” and the guests were asked to sit around tables, enjoy some fresh fruits while listening to the sounds of pianist Raphael Gualazzi.
Starting off with typical summer colours such as white, sand, beige and cream, the collection colour palette evolves to baby blue, and finishes with the classic and elegant charcoal black, while keeping the relaxed silhouettes and smart proportions throughout.
Particularly interesting were the accessories; oversized canvas bag with leather finishes, and long linen scarves dominated the runway, alongside the leather sandals available both in black and white. That’s certainly a classy way to start #MFW! Bravo Corneliani.
