Something extraordinary has happened on the 16th of April, British Luxury brand Burberry (and our all time favourite) has organised the runway show of the century, bringing all-Brit traditions to the streets of Los Angeles in an evening, that we can certainly say must have been a magical one.
Following the similar event from last year, in Shanghai, this time around Burberry decided to do it in style in the all-star city where dreams are made of. Setting the stage at the iconic landmark “The Griffith Observatory”, the evening was attended by more than 700 guests, including the Beckhams, American Vogue editor in chief, Anna Wintour, model Cara Delavigne, and a huge selection of British and American actors and actresses.
The runway show was a re-see of the FW15 Prorsum collection seen in Kensington Gardens during LFW last March, and it added to the finale, the wonderful presence of the Royal guards, and a cameo with British comedian James Corden, super model Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn. Also, British musicians Claire Maguire, Benjamin Clementine and George Ezra all had the chance to sing on stage.
Creative director and CEO Mr Bailey mentioned “It is an incredible honour and a huge privilege to be able to bring a little bit of Burberry’s hometown of London to such an iconic venue in the heart of Los Angeles. Griffith Observatory is a truly inspiring place and I would like to thank the City for allowing us to host our event there.” We do believe that and are extremely jealous of all the ones who attended that amazing event (bloggers in particular).
