Parisian elegance, that’s the prerogative of Officine Generale‘s man that strutted down the runway on the last day of Paris fashion week men’s. A casual French elegance that only a few brand can truly achieve (think of Hermes, for example), as every piece is smart and chic without being over the trop, and frill free.
Nothing unnecessary is added on the clothes, but there’s an incredible dept with the styling, mixing different materials together, and adding another level of chic to the AW18 range. I can see the Officine guys casually walking around Paris, with a book in hand, and smocking a cigarette with such elegance that only those garçons can do.
The collection was all about relaxed silhouettes, with elements such as the carrot style trousers, and the flow-y single breasted rain coats, working beautifully together with more formal blazers, while we also enjoyed a few more different looks such as the shearling suede jacket matched with a crisp pair of jeans, the military boiler suit, and big turtle necks jumpers styled with varsity hats (LOVE)
Bravo Pierre Maheo!
