Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 Day 3

Third day has come and gone at the most glamorous event in Milan and Another caravan full of high-end brands exhibited their own collections.
Z Zegna (see above for my favourite looks) was the one that impressed me the most on day 3. I simply loved the pin-prints on those suits.
The classic looks always manage to get my attention somehow. I loved the jackets and the accessories (SUNGLASSES+SHOES are amazing)

Another brand that deserves talking about was Gucci (see below). The direction of the brand in my opinion was quite mellow, bright pastel colors were used on suits, pants and shirts (A-la Ferragamo), as well as flowerish-prints. The materials varied from Suede (on bombers) to Satin and yet again to Alligator-skin on handbags.

Emporio Armani, Missoni and Canali really went for it and pulled off a great show with an overall great collection. I found very remarkable those very short print shorts (used as well on a tote) and the desert and chukka boots. Canali had a metallic blitz (it seems very popular as Burberry, R. Cavalli and Versace all went for it… I cannot wait to see metallic petrol colors everywhere next spring/summer, It’ll be interesting) on the blazers.

The other designers of the day were Moncler Gamme Blue, E. Scervino, Moschino and Iceberg.
As well it needs to be cited Fendi, which showed off the collection in a showroom with no actual models involved…only mannequins!

So which was your favourite the designers and look of the day? Please don’t forget to comment with your opinions!
