Summer country club where the chic guy goes was the inspiration for the Melinda Gloss Spring/Summer 2016 collection, shown on this open space near le Jardins Royal.
Designers Mathieu de Menonville and Remi de Laquintane created a beautiful range featuring oversized grid check as seen on shirts and trench coats, and added a particular focus on creating some incredible creative prints as seen on the bomber jackets and t-shirts.
The materials of the jackets are very researched, with suede making an appearance on field jackets, (in both light blue and red) oversized bags, and our favourite Fringed camel Americana-inspired jacket. Also, the tailoring is another main focus point for the French maison, showing guys wearing luxe tailored trousers in a delicate muted colour palette, and pleated pants matched with a berry blazer.
Last but not least, Womenswear made an appearance at the show, but apparently the focus will continue to stay on menswear, as mentioned by De Menonville.
