Duchamp SS16 was presented in the mirror room at the super luxurious London Rosewood Hotel, and as usual, we got a sense of luxury, elegance and dandy-ness with an Italian twist to shake it all from this British brand. For the S/S16, Duchamp proposed lots of ultra smart blazers for the evening, featuring lush dinner jackets in Velvet, and shiny fabrics. The focus was also on the accessories: It was definitely a cravats, bow ties and smart ties galore.
Our favourite section, and the one the most in tunes with the Spring/Summer vibes, was the casual smart wear – featuring a lot of summer blazers in light materials and with different patterns such as the striking drawn gingham and checks , all smartly styled with either beige or tartan light linen trousers. Hence the Italian twist we discussed before.
The presentation, which was held on the third day of LCM, was definitely a success, with David Gandy as an attendee. The brand provided lots of different canapés and cool drinks to taste while enjoying the beautiful SS16 range.
