On the last day of MFW, the Dynamo duo Dean and Dan Caten showcased the FW16 collection at a very special venue: the Military School of Milano. Dsquared2 is known for its eccentricity, its young style and the way they have fun with the clothes, so we knew the expect the unexpected!
This Autumn/Winter 2016 was all about the Japanese inspirations, from the cuts (with garments resembling pleated high-school skirts used in Japan), to the materials (such as denim and metallic foil) right down to the prints, featuring Manga images on bomber jackets and down parkas, back packs and even on trousers.
The soundtrack (which was insane!!!) was also a fusion between the Canadian and westernised cultured with the far east. This F/W show was truly amazing and real fun to attend, and had a few remarkable models such as Kit Butlerr, Lucky Blue Smith and heart throb Matty Carrington walking up and down the runway!
