Dior Homme Summer 2017 collection designed by Kris Van Assche was a continuation of the Winter 2016 range seen in Paris back in January; the SS17 collection takes inspiration from the grunge and punk rock movement, with very skinny silhouettes and geometric elements fusing together with more sporty garments, and following the idea of order and disorder.
Kris mentioned “This season there is a sense of collective consciousness to the collection – a remix of shared boyhood memories” the designer not only took another direction and gave a new life to sportswear, he twisted and showed his vision on military inspired bomber jacket, and military trench coats. Stitched trousers, and luxe harnesses on top of tailored blazers, and tennis-like caps were all wow factor elements for the new season.
The accessory line was also very strong, with leather backpacks featuring the classic Dior flowers, and sport bags being our top favourites. Worth mentioning, the show has always been know to be the place for the VIPs; actor Robert Pattinson, Rocky and A$AP all attended the Summer 2017 show.
