Dior Homme creative director Kriss Van Assche continues to bring his futuristic inspired collection on the runway, with skinny silhouttes, modern style suits, pony hair trench coats in bright hues and fur to die for.
The designer, is also seen taking inspiration and referencing rave parties and retro bands such as Candy-Boys and Gabber on the accessories, with “Hardior” written on visors ( a game of word to describe the Hard Dior boys), and oversized reflective sunglasses. A true Dior attitude on the runway and out.
This season the show location was moved from Tennis Club de Paris to the majestic Grand Palais (a very pleasant surprise), and that proved the beautiful contrast between the raw and hardcore essence of FW17 created by Kriss and the beauty and gentleness of Dior as a brand, and it’s classic surroundings
Among the guests, Bono from U2, Boy George, Dior womenswear/couture creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, Karl Lagerfeld, Lewis Hamilton all attended the show on PFW day 4
