Burgundy, teal and greys were the colours used for the Daks Spring/Summer 2017 collection shown during MFW day 2. Creative director Filippo Scuffi created a collection all inspired by an Indian journey; loose silhouettes, metal pendants, bangles and safari jackets were all part of the range to enhance the sense of “one thousand and one nights” dream.
In the background, a video was playing, showing endless desert dunes and the models walked the space to assemble in the middle of a runway. Something different from the classic catwalk show, which made it all even more special and could give us all the chance to see the details and the shades of each garment.
Overall, another very enjoyable collection, that added great inspiration for the next SS17 season.
