This is my second time in Hong Kong, and once again I decided to stay in the new territories, precisely in Sha Tin! You might remember it from my previous posts as I’ve shot a few editorials near the hotel.
Anyways, Sha tin is an area 30 minutes away from Kowloon, and you can feel a calm vibe compared to central. Which is something I value a lot whenever I am in Hong Kong.
A beautiful thing about this area, is the Shing Mun River that flows right in the middle of the city, and the Chinese style Lek Yuen bridge that is captured on some of the photos. Also, It’s worth saying that the area is surrounded by picturesque green mountains and hills (the ten thousand buddhas temple is well worth visiting while in Sha Tin) and even has a “special place” where you can go and see monkeys roaming around freely!
While visiting, I had the chance to create an editorial showing you how pretty the area REALLY is, so I selected a Tommy Hilfiger SS16 outfit, starting with the whitest slim-fit chinos that definitely scream holiday season, and paired them with a striped crew neck sweater in navy and red (you’ll know that the latest Tommy campaign is all about the Holiday vibe and mood, even when in the city – so I went for that too). I also chose my favourite pair of suede double monk shoes in Navy from Dune London.
