A concrete jungle can truly be real – if you have been to a city like Hong Kong, you will know exactly what I’m talking about. And that’s a great feeling! You can get lost in central Hong Kong, look up to the sky, and gaze at the tall buildings that surround you, you might even see your favourite building in the distance, or the green mountains that make the city so incredibly connected to nature.
Once again, I was really lucky to re-visit Hong Kong one more time, and managed to do things that I didn’t have the time to do on my trip in 2015. Among those things, I finally tried the star ferry from Kowloon to Central, visited a few more Buddhist temples, and experienced the Aviary in central HK.
In these pictures, you can see me visiting different places, starting off in TST (Kowloon), posing by the Victoria Harbour overlooking the impressive Hong Kong sky line, and ending up in Central and walking by the Man Mo temple near Admiralty.
For this occasion, I’ve put together an outfit chosen from the Reiss Spring/Summer 2016 collection, a green emerald Safari jacket (a truly exceptional piece) is styled together with a pair of mottled trousers in dark grey, and the softest silk scarf featuring a fine polka dots print.
I really wanted to infuse the sense of Safari, and adventure into this OOTD and to show everyone, how you can look cool in a concrete jungle like HK!
