One of the “struggles” for fashion bloggers during the shows, is that we might end up having to do 1-2-3 different outfit changes (yes, in one single day), as we collaborate with so many brands.
On day 3, I worn two different outfits for example, for Dirk Bikkembergs fashion show (the first show to start on Sunday), which was held at the same location as the last Gucci shows (Via Valtellina 7) I decided to rock a very colourful and well constructed look. Starting with Marni Broken promise shirt as seen on the catwalk in Autumn/Winter 2016, the shirt comes in ochre yellow and features a very striking flower print that looks like it was drawn on with black ink.
But the shirt alone wasn’t the only strong piece, the Burberry rubber trench coat, which is actually see through, was the best coat to be worn with the Marni shirt, as the effect created came through particularly well against the light.
I styled the shirt with a pair of Club Monaco navy trousers (a very relaxed version of a classic pair of pants) and finished off with a customised Cambridge Satchel oxblood back pack (RLS initials are printed on the front of the bag) and a pair of Kurt Geiger Moore Boots in a very similar colour. Nonetheless, this peacock outfit got the attention of many street style photographers, and made it to GQ ITALIA (woop woop) and WWD! Amazing right?!
