“London London London is calling you… What are you waiting for? What are you searching for?!” sings the chorus of Benjamin Clementine’ song. London is for certain, one of the most vibrant cities in the world, fusing modern skyscrapers built on the east, and retaining its charm and old buildings on the central and west side.
The city is a harbour for all the people who come from all over the world, looking for the perfect job, a new career, or possibly something deeper, like love or family. And you wonder why I chose London as my base?!
Being so well connected as well, you can easily escape from the city and reconnect to nature by going to the country side, hop on the Eurostar, and visit Paris, or other cities in Europe. Or even better, jump on a plane and be in Tokyo 12 hours later. London has it all!
Coming to that, and reconnecting to how easy it is to go from London to Paris. I wanted to put together a whole Kenzo outfit featuring the latest Fall/Winter 2015 range and capturing the view of some of my favourite London’s landmarks (St Paul’s, Millennium Bridge, River Thames and the Shard). You all probably already know that the Parisian brand is a favourite of mine (for its design, bold colours and silhouettes) and a must-see event during PFW (their locations for the shows are insane), and I thought it certainly deserved a good feature on here.
In these photos, I’ve picked the most gorgeous denim jacket that features the “Love. Kenzo. Respect. Others. Irony” care label, and matched it with the Stripped jumper in brushed lamb wool and the tapered stripes pants, which were seen on models walking down the catwalk back in January.
Finishing off the look, I’m wearing the most amazing Sonic sneakers in black, featuring a lovely arch detail on the sole.
WHAT I’M WEARING:
(KENZO FW15 total look)
The brand, even though made in Paris, still seems to perfectly fit (and blend) with London, don’t you think?!
