Instram Diary Part 12

 I'm finally on holidays! Yup... no work for 7 days, so I can focus on blogging a little bit more :D
I have to admit that I have a great photoshoot coming up on friday, but I can't give out any more informations at the moment.

As well, I'm super excited about the Olympics, the opening ceremony was great and I enjoyed every second of it - the lantern is amazing!!! - matching the Beijing expectation for sure. I'm all #TEAMUSA! but I definetely give my support #TEAM GB too! SO EXCITED to see more and I will definetely try to follow most events of this amazing LONDON2012.

Last Monday I've also decided to buy 50 Shades of Grey, Everyone seems to talk about this book and I've heard many different opinions..some people said it was the worst book ever, while others stated it was one of the most interesting readings they've ever had. So I got myself a copy to clear it all and have my own opinion.
I've read about a quarter of the book and I have to say that the story is certainly captivating
- Anastasia Steele is so annoying, almost as annoying as Bella Swan in the second book of the Twilight Saga, but I have a fascination for Christian Grey...which I can't help but picture in my mind as Christian Bale in American Psycho -, I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to know more... now, this curiosity definetely made me bypass the written part of it... damn this book is probably one of the worst book I've ever read! lots of repetitions and that murmurs is starting to get into my head now.
I'll keep reading of course and keep you updated on it! Are you guys reading this book? If So What's your opinion? I'd really like to hear it

This time around Thom Evans gets all dirty and poses in front of the cameras for Attitude Magazine
- The august 2012 edition is currently available in most WHSmith and stuff - in this very very sexy and apparently greasy shoot.

Love Profusion

really love the second look, especially the leather-sleeve baseball jacket - I think I've posted a similar jacket from Levi's on my summer looks post - which I received many many compliments from different people saying it looks stunning.

I decided to combine it with a very simple but cool look, White scoop neck basic t-shirt and a pair of Turqoise smart shorts. I think it's very stylish and all summerish look. What's your opinion on that? And do you like the photoshoot?


PS: somehow the jacket reminds me somehow of Kanye West, I don't really know why and how.. but it does! ha

[Fashion Spot] Givenchy Pre Fall/Winter 2012 Pick and Pricelist

Givenchy is definetely one of those brands that grew on me, and I have to say it did pretty quickly! It might be because of the quirky outfits and kind of "gangsta" style - I mean c'mon, It's probably the only brand that promotes men gowns and matches them with oversized bad-ass prints - or the really dark feeling it has. Eitherway It's getting addictive and I'm loving a lot of the new Pre Fall/Winter collection, I'm loving it so much that if I could I'd buy it all in a heartbeat - if only my credit card balance wasn't in red, of course - !

Now getting down to business and talking about the gorgeous t-shirts, I am positive to say that I'm so going to own at least one piece of the bunch... and I'm so thinking about the Angel Crest print. It's cool, different and edgy... everything I'm looking for really.

Apparently though, the Shark t-shirt and sweatshirt have been rocking the Givenchy sales - Riccardo Tisci must be so happy -. According to Mr Porter the Shark T-shirt - which is going to replace the Rottwailer print from the previous F/W collection - has managed to go out of stock on the same day - It took only a few hours to be exact - it was available on the website, pretty crazy huh?!? Luckily enough they replenished both stocks this week and they are now available again @ Mrporter.com

For any other t-shirt, you have to wait till October 15th and you can currently pre-order your favourite print @ Luisa Via Roma. I know It's a long wait but it will be totes worth it!

Talking about the prices... well the two t-shirts above are rispectively £165.00 for the Black Angel Crest and for the White Mermaid Print.

Now it becomes a whole different story when it comes to The Rottwailer and Shark prints which are both slightly cheaper and can be bought for £155.00 a-t-shirt... Not bad right?
Apparently the most expensive ones are the oversized Shark & Mermaid print (both in T-shirt and Hoodie) and the oversized Angel print ...which can be owned for £297... bargain!

So what's your opinion on this crazy-good shark inspired collection? Do you think it's up to the challange to beat the super adored and talked "Bird of the Paradise" S/S 12 collection?

If anyone wanted to know the price of the septum/nose rings, they are actually out and ready to be pre-ordered @ Luisa Via Roma and are going to be sold for £166.00 for the small ones and £300.00 the bigger ones with the star. I remind you that they are both made of Swarowsky crystal and metal...so of course they are great quality and high standard. - SO EXCITED! -

PS: Just like Givenchy, Simone Nobili grew on me a Hell-of-a-lot! I LOOOOOOOOVE THAT GUY!

 Great week so far, If you've followed my latest posts you've probably noticed that I've been featured on Lyst.com, I do hope you enjoyed the cheeky interview! :D

Another thing that needs saying is that I've started featuring my looks.
I've been wanting to do that for ages but failed to do so, now that I have the right person along my side I can start posting my different looks every 10 days. - I've set up a lookbook account too! It's time to get out there and get known guys -

I decided to plan to post my styles every now and again because my blog isn't an every-day style blog, It's about menswear and fashion news and lifestyle.
I love writing and discussing about fashion so that's the reason why I didn't want to change too much and just add this little twist so you can start to recognize my face a bit more..well I hope so :P - Love the picture of me and Simone Nobili haha -

Color On The Walls

he shots are finally here guys! As I told you few weeks ago, I'm going to start to post some of my looks every now and again (I'll try my best to make this happen as much as possible, I promise)

Can I just say that I'm in love with the first picture? I was really inspired by the Givenchy Nose Ring (I'm so excited about those lovely jewerly guys!) and I decided to attempt to do a redemption in my own way with that spiked-necklace. What do you think?

Instagram Diary Part 10

et me announce you people that The Wild Swans finally got its own domain! So we ditched .blogspot.com with a more sleeker WWW.THEWILD-SWANS.COM!
I'm so happy and proud about it because I see this as a little achievement and I'm sure that this is just the beginning of something beautiful!

Another cool thing I did last week was going to the movies, to be honest I haven't gone there in ages and it was really nice to hang around there with Tess and Linn in this alcohol-free activity.
Now, it was alcohol free but certainly not Men free since we went to the premier of Magic Mike, which I enjoyed! - Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer stripping off? I mean, That was more than enough for us three perv to get a ticket-

My Birthday is coming up this Friday, I'm not too bothered at the moment and I still don't know what's going to happen then... I'm gonna throw a party with my friend Amy - Our Birthdays are so close so we decided to join the forces and have an amazing party at possibly the Hilton - on payday...I'm so excited!
Present-wise, I have nothing in particular that I want or that could fit my budget or somebody's budget... I'm damn in love with those Burberry Raffia Cork-Sole Shoes! *WINK WINK*

And finally, Since I'm a quite huge fan of Tennis, can I just say that I'm so pleased about the Williams' sisters winning the double and Serena the womens single... And how can we forget about Federer? He's the MAN!

Instagram Diary Part 9

 nother week of running from round Topman to Networking for TWS, It's been quite busy and I had time to brain storm a little.
First of all, I'm currently looking for a photographer to colloborate for the urban looks project on here, I have a few lined up so I'm going to see who is the most suitable.
Also, since I can go off topic on the Instagram post... did you hear the best news of 2012? Pretty Soldier Sailormoon is finally coming back with a new series - apparently a remake of the series, with less fillers and more closer to the manga! I just cannot wait - next summer 2013... I'm honestly surprised because I've been waiting for this for ageeeeeees... Saint Seiya made a great come back, so I'm glad they are giving a chance to this anime as well!

 

About all these lovely picture of Cat faces on human bodies... have you tried that application (Cat-wang)? It's good fun and I just love sticking a face of a cat on myself or others! hah As you can see Matt Rodwell had a pretty cool make over (Beach Boys Matt Rodwell and Igor Stepanov for Attitude) don't you guys think?


One of my worst online pet peeves gotta to be those fools who keep sending you emails about money...like.."Oh I don't know you but I'm here to tell you just won 50 million USD... just send me your address, your bank accounts details, all your pin numbers, and even a vile of blood while you're at it"..........if any of that was real I'd have about £47.000.000 sitting in my bank account. So people just cut it and stop teasing me :/ Oh well... one day maybe.

I had an amazing Costco adventure with my best friend Tessa, It's actually a long story but I haven't laughed so hard in ages. It was good fun and It didn't involve any alcohol!
We ended up kind-a getting into trouble to get..guess what? Yes... Cupcakes and Danish Pastries... just because we rock! :)
